About him:
Omar dabbles in acting, directing and set design. He is best known for his work in translation and adaptation alongside his late father, Allahyarham Tan Sri Muhammad Ali Hashim. The pair took English classics, translated them into Bahasa Melayu, and adapted them into a more familiar, localised context. Omar is currently working at The Actors Studio in Development and Dramaturgy.
