• Invited by distinguished American Choreographer Eliot Feld to join Ballet Tech in New York as a Guest Dancer from 2009-2013
• Commissioned a performance of FreeSteps for Taiwan International Festival of Arts (2016 ), Winner of First Place and Audiences’ Choice of Kurt-Jooss-Preis Germany with 2 Men (2013), Winner of Taishin Arts Award -The Performing Arts Award with Velocity (2007)

Our FreeSteps

Su Wei Chia, founder of HORSE sharing his own story on becoming a choreographer and the experience on collaborating between choreographers from Taiwan and foreign dance artists during his project FreeSteps.

FreeSteps is a ten-year-project initiated by Su since 2013. The project is aiming to explore the most primitive status of dance and to re-explore the possibilities of dancing. The choreography of Su, co-founder of the company, is to peel off various layers of body characteristics and textures within set limitations – very often not repeating previous FreeSteps.
