Jalan Harapan is a research sited around the road of the same name in Petaling Jaya. The practice of a daily walking ritual and dancing ritual evolves into a research that navigates between in/visibility, encounters, interaction, invitation, participation, and bringing together people who would otherwise not spend time together. The process emphasizes the sharing of a physical time and physical space, and focuses on listening, responding, and sensing the larger body that one is a part of.

It is a continuous research of how to live together, situated in real-life spaces, encountering each body as a person with a face, and exploring diversity through what is shared– the body, the need to breathe, the subjection to gravity– the human.
